Hello,

I love the use of science when mixing spirits!:)

The use of a copper mug, as a conductor, is a great way
to ensure an ice cold cocktail! Copper transfers the heat inside the cup
to the outside, keeping your beverage ice cold!

A great drink using the copper mug is:
The Moscow Mule

1 ounce vodka
1 tsp. sugar syrup
Fresh lime juice
1/2 cup ginger beer
1 sprig fresh mint
1 slice of lime
Directions
In a copper mug, pour vodka over ice. Add sugar syrup and lime juice. Top with ginger beer and stir. Garnish with mint sprig and lime slice.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading your artical on the 10 minute Martini
and apoud you for your genius efforts that all Martini fans can deeply appreciate!

Cheers!

My husband (since 1988) and I were there on Valentines night 2011. Sitting at the bar, sipping our martinis, oh so close to that same corner table.

The food, the drinks, the music, the service and ambiance is always perfect.

We love Chandlers!
We'll see again you soon!

Just wanted to thank the staff for helping me salvage my new years eve night. Before going out I learned that I needed to drive to Oregon January 1st for work which definitely put a damper on the evening. Than I had a mishap with a glass of beer and felt awful about. The Chandlers staff were very gracious to me through the ordeal. Even though it was not a night I had hoped for, it was still fun, thanks in large part to the staff.

Being an English businessman from the "midlands" in England, when i first flew into Boise on business in January 2009 i stayed at the Hotel 43.
I decided the first full day to wind down with a few drinks in Chandlers at the excellent bar then have a meal. OMG where have you beeen all my life, i have been in many class establishments around the globe but the food, hospitality and professionalism of the staff here is second to none. I have subsequently being back on 7 more occasions even flying friends in from a function in LA to eat here just to understand how good it is. I will be back in Boise at the end of April and intend once more to enjoy the atmosphere in this most excellent of restaurants.
See you soon.
