Winemaker Dinner, January 23, 2023

Marimar Estate Vineyard & Winery is located in the Russian River Valley in Sonoma County, California. The winery was founded by Marimar Torres, a Spanish immigrant with centuries of winemaking in her family. She fell in love with the region’s terroir and started planting grapes there in 1986. The winery is known for its high-quality, handcrafted offerings made only from estate-grown grapes in true recognition of their unique terroir.

The vineyard at Marimar Estate is situated on a rolling hillside and is planted with a variety of grape varieties, including Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir. The grapes are grown using sustainable farming practices, which include crop reduction, cover cropping, and minimal use of pesticides. This results in grapes that are incredibly healthy and full of flavor.

Marimar Estate’s wines have received high praise from critics and wine enthusiasts alike. The winery’s Chardonnays are known for their elegance and balance, while the Pinot Noirs for their complexity and depth of flavor.

An Evening with Marimar at Chandlers

We were thrilled to have Marimar’s daughter, Cristina Torres, join us for a special night of their exciting wines paired with a five-course menu created by Executive Sous Chef, Manny Martinez. All the dishes were composed to highlight the Marimar lineup.
